Our Services Cover the Spectrum

Since 1993, Spectrum Environmental Services has worked hard to provide top-level services to our clients.

We developed our unique combination of services and highly proficient, well-trained team as a direct response to client needs. We believe that in today's marketplace, clients seek a single source for quality industrial and environmental services and regulatory guidance and consulting. This structure results in more efficient communication between our field operations, project managers, and clients.

You can rest assured that you've found your ideal environmental partner through our mix of services, expertise, and "one-stop-shop" approach.

Our Story and Our Vision

In 1993, Steve Castleman established Spectrum Environmental, Inc. as a means by which to serve the rapidly growing and changing industrial and business sector in Birmingham and the surrounding metroplex.  At the same time, Guy Manzi was leading a successful industrial service, waste management, and environmental product company (MEPSCO, Inc.).  Taking advantage of his experience in mergers and acquisitions, Guy initiated the merger of MEPSCO and Spectrum Environmental, Inc. to form Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc. in 1995.  The two men had a shared vision “Serving businesses and individuals to build a stronger future for all” – which could be better fulfilled through combining their efforts.

How We’re Built For Success

As part of our ongoing commitment to our employees and valued customers, we have implemented EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Leadership Framework across our organization. EOS is a proven, comprehensive model designed to help businesses clarify their vision, align teams, and drive results through structured processes and accountability. By embracing this framework, Spectrum is reinforcing its dedication to delivering best-in-class service to our growing customer base while creating meaningful, daily opportunities for every team member to achieve both individual and collective goals.

This strategic initiative marks another forward-thinking step in Spectrum’s journey to ensure long-term success for our people and our organization. We are pleased to announce the following roles within our EOS framework:
